- Assist with office/phone coverage support and walk-in visitors with general inquiries and program information;
- Assist with advising ELP students regarding their class schedule and level placement and assist in resolving scheduling and billing matters;
- Refer students to university resources as needed;
- Monitor student attendance per faculty reporting each session;
- Assist with the New Student Orientation.
- Assist with the ELP student engagement activities
- Coordinate with other units regarding student support as appropriate
Course Maintenance - Assist with course scheduling documents and associated data as requested.
Data Reporting - Assist with enrollment letters, completion letters, and final grade letters to the ELP students as requested;
- Assist with data reporting regarding student enrollment, registration, student demographics, and retention rates.
Faculty Support - Develop advising materials as requested;
- Assist with student assessment as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in education, international studies, or other related fields;
- Experience advising students in a secondary school or higher education settings;
- Evidence of strong interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrated success communicating across cultures;
- Experience working effectively in an office environment;
- Ability to maintain a very positive and friendly demeanor in a busy office environment;
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Native or native-like proficiency/fluency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with global education, event planning, and international student services;
- Demonstrated experience using "Banner" in a university setting
