We are in the process of finding our next 100,000 customers, and we're looking for the right experienced technologist to lead our team into our next phase.
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role on a new nimble, small team building the next version of our divorce platform.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support the delivery of our innovative divorce solutions.
Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness and scalability of our services, and make a meaningful impact on the future of divorce.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend systems in Python
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to define and implement new features
Help define and evolve our domain model to expand our service offering
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and fostering a collaborative development environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and ensuring the reliability of our platform.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and actively explore opportunities for innovation.
⠀ Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience with Ruby and Rails development is a plus
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles, and domain modeling
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, and database design (SQL).
At least 4 years of experience working on large production systems
