    This position is a supply chain career development program for a recent grad who is ready to start a career in supply chain. In this role you will assist with the cost-effective, efficient procurement and planning of aircraft spares as well as outside services, equipment and materials required by all departments.

    Essential Functions

    • Procure and ensure delivery of material to meet time requirements and avoid negative fiscal impact as result of delays or cancellations.
    • Gain familiarity with aircraft manuals (Illustrated Parts Catalog, Component Maintenance Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Manual)
    • Ensure all materials procured meet company and regulatory standards of quality, ensuring the requirements of all maintenance organizations and FAR's are met.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance Planning and Inventory Control on projected material requirements for scheduled maintenance events and ensure materials are available.
    • Seek-out and evaluate new sources of supply to achieve cost reduction goals without jeopardizing quality and material requirements.
    • Procure and process material requisitions following company purchasing procedures.
    • Alert management to any irregularities of material requisitions and vendor improprieties.
    • Provide departments with current status of open requisitions and purchase orders.
    • Responsible for managing the cradle to grave process of purchases, product delivery, payment including discrepancy resolution with vendor and warehouse, warranty processing, material returns and insurance events.
    • Develop and update desktop procedures.
    • Act as back up for similar purchasing role
    • Learn and support new maintenance management software implementation.
    • Maintain KPIs at required levels: Aged Open Requisitions, Aged Repair Orders, Aged Exchange Orders, Invoices Unable to Process, Notice of Exception resolution, cost savings tracking.
    • Other duties as required or directed by the Material Manager to fulfill the requirements of the position.
