Job Title: Mid-Level Geologist or Scientist

About the Role

This position will provide mid-level geologist or scientist to support various environmental assessment/remediation projects. Work includes due diligence work, report preparation, and various environmental field work. Field work and travel is estimated to be 25%. The ideal candidate will be capable of assuming responsibility for routine to complex tasks/projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting technical roles for projects
• Report writing, generation of figures, tables, and database management
• Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) experience
• Performing investigations at contaminated sites, including CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum sites
• Collections of soil and water samples using various sampling techniques
• Munitions remediation experience is a plus
• Planning and coordinating with subcontractors and field personnel
• Supporting roles in proposals and marketing

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental science; Master's degree is a plus
• 5-7 years of directly related professional experience and/or training in environmental assessment/remediation work
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
• Basic computer skills; advanced skills are desirable
