    POSITION OVERVIEW:


    MLee Healthcare is a dynamic and growing small to mid-size company in healthcare. We specialize in Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the financial operations of the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into the accounting system and reconciling transactions.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
    • Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including gathering data and preparing reports for management review.
    • Perform various ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
    • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5-6 years of relevant work experience in accounting
    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience with accounting software with QuickBooks, Xero
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
