    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
    Seven years of job related experience in window, assembly, architecture, or construction materials

    • Proven experience in a 'Design to Production' environment , with a focus on complex projects in engineering or construction.
    • Proficiency in drafting software and techniques, with demonstrated ability to create detailed technical drawings.
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
    Able to use AutoCAD system to prepare submittal documents for project approvals.

    Analyzing and understanding the building specifications, sites, and codes Referring to the architectural sketches and specifications for creating technical drawings using AutoCAD.

    Worked in an architectural building products company specializing in interior / exterior glazing systems - provided multiple project design support.


    Responsibilities:


    Drafter- Project Coordinator will be responsible for producing detailed drawings using AutoCAD software, as well as managing projects from conception to completion.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and project management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Creation of client submittals through extensive collaboration that gathers the customer's needs and expectations from both internal and external stakeholders, like the customer, the sales, project management, and estimation teams.
    • Upon the approval of drawings from the customer, the coordinator would also support in the creation of production documentation that aligns with both the drawings generated, and the production needs for the factory. This will be accomplished using evaluation of the drawings on existing or new software platforms
    • The coordinator will constantly seek to identify more efficient ways to transform a project from the early design stage, to the final production stage, in terms of information transfer and document support
    • Utilize drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
    • Translate project requirements and specifications into detailed drafting plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
    • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes and modifications.
    • Review and revise drawings based on feedback, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
    • Maintain organized documentation of drafting files, revisions, and related project materials.
