- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Provide direct instruction in a variety of academic subjects,including reading,writing,math,and science
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to manage challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure smooth transitions and provide ongoing support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EDUClimber or Mystar (documentation system)
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Michigan teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
- CPI training preferred
- Experience with EDUClimber or Mystar (documentation system) a plus
