- Department Manager - Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams at a single site in compliance with policies and regulations. Duties include leading and performing various housekeeping and laundry tasks across different shifts.
- Training & Development - Lead staff training, quality control, and project completion oversight. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality meets established standards.
- Reporting - Maintain records of income, expenses, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Communication - Serve as a connection between building occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff. Effectively relay directives and information among all parties.
- Safety - Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of protective gear and cleaning solutions. Report equipment issues promptly while maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Punctuality - Demonstrate consistent attendance, timely completion of tasks, and prompt response to communications.
- Customer Experience - Uphold HCSG's standards by being courteous, cooperative, and following instructions diligently.
- Resident Experience - Interact positively and respectfully with residents, staff, and facility guests.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, follow instructions, and perform daily tasks effectively.
- Show leadership skills after training completion to carry out responsibilities independently and safely.
- Preferably possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Desirable to have two years of experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare setting, including personnel supervision.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work with cleaning products and food.
- Must reside in the service area.
