R Inside Sales Representative/Relief Driver (CDL w/Hazmat) (Open)El Dorado, AR - Retail shop
As the "face of Airgas, you will assist walk-in and telephone call-in customers by identifying product needs and locating merchandise, restock store merchandise as needed, and enter sales data into the computer system.
You will also deliver cylinder gases, and welding & safety products to customers, as needed.As the Inside Sales Rep/Back Up Driver at Airgas, you will be a part of a professional team that encourages internal mobility while offering our employees a work/life balance.
Monday thru Friday, daytime hoursSolicits sales from walk in or telephone call in customers
Documents sales, quotes, or other information.
Enters sales data into computer system and researches information for customers through use of the same.
Receives payment for merchandise or services sold and accounts for same.
Aids customers in assessing needs and locating merchandise.
Obtains merchandise from stockroom when merchandise is not on floor.
Arranges stock on shelves or racks in sales area and keeps merchandise in order.
Marks or tickets merchandise.
Assures stock inventories are kept at a level that facilitates sales objectives.
Prepares and routes merchandise for shipment.
Releases daily invoices and completes all required hand written and computer generated documentation on a timely and accurate basis.
Maintain CDL with Hazmat endorsement in order to serve as backup driver when needed.Deliver cylinder gases and merchandise to customers in a commercial vehicle, as needed.

Airgas Delivery Driver:
Airgas helps its drivers and the public share the roads safely so people and our product all arrive safe and sound.
Airgas follows the FMCSA requirement for all motor carrier employers to run full queries of the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse database for any violations during the pre-employment process for all new CDL Driver Hires to ensure they are not prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions.
All new CDL Driver Hires must register for the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and allow Airgas consent to review their Clearinghouse record.
Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.Most vehicles are under six years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On-Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, the latest camera technology, and GPS navigation.
________________________Have at least one year sales experience – preferred
Have at least one year SAP experience – preferred
Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Ability to learn and effectively navigate through the sales platform, SAP.Have a valid AR Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat (may be obtained after offer) and Airbrake endorsements and valid Medical Examiner's Card.
Must have one (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at-fault accidents in the last three years; In lieu of experience, may consider accepting a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) yearsS.
