- Monitor the press continually for signs of malfunction and depletion of raw materials
- Train new press operators
- Perform press operator duties for scheduled breaks
- Remove scrap boxes from the presses when full and dump contents
- Assemble cardboard cartons using the pneumatic staple gun and tape gun
- Label and stack boxes
- Transport finished product from production to warehouse using pallet jack
- Keep machines fully stocked
- Scan raw materials to and from production areas
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Press operator experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day
- The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour
