    The Master Data Management Associate Director will be responsible for leading the patient Master Data Management (MDM) function within our Patient Services Data Operations team.

    This role will involve developing and implementing the patient MDM strategy and roadmap, ensuring data quality and consistency.

    The Associate Director will oversee the integration of patient data from multiple systems into the central MDM platform, maintaining synchronization and defining data quality rules.

    They will manage a team of data stewards, resolving data anomalies and implementing standard operating procedures. Effective stakeholder management and collaboration with IT teams to implement MDM technology solutions are also key responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patient MDM Strategy and Governance:
    • Lead the development and implementation of the patient MDM strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall data governance principles.
    • Define data quality standards for patient records and establish metrics to track progress.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize patient data improvement initiatives.
    • Data Integration and Management:
    • Oversee the integration of patient data from multiple enrollment, engagement, and access management systems into the central MDM platform.
    • Ensure data synchronization and consistency across all touchpoints.
    • Define and implement data quality rules and cleansing procedures.
    • Patient Data Stewardship:
    • Lead and manage a team of data stewards responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving patient data anomalies and discrepancies.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data anomaly management.
    • Provide training and support to data stewards on MDM best practices.
    • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate effectively with data owners, business system owners, platform owners, data operations teams, and other key stakeholders across the organization.
    • Communicate patient MDM progress and challenges to stakeholders.
    • Obtain buy-in and support for data quality initiatives.
    • Technology and Systems:
    • Partner with IT teams to identify and implement MDM technology solutions that meet business needs.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest MDM technologies and trends.
    • Ensure optimal performance and stability of the MDM platform.
    Qualifications


    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Systems.
    • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in master data management.
    • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing MDM programs.
    • Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    • Expertise in working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
    • Leadership experience and ability to manage and motivate a team.
    • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with healthcare data systems and platforms.
    • Experience working within a regulated environment.
    • Experience with managing Patient services programs
    • Data quality tools and techniques (e.g., data profiling, cleansing, matching).
    • Project management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
