    Job Description:

    A Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with developed care plans and physician orders. The RN will adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
    • Observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to supervisors and/or physicians as necessary.
    • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
    • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
    • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
    • Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession through educational programs and continued education units.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
    • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
    • Home health experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
    • Ability to travel.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
    • Ability to sit and climb stairs.
    • Visual and hearing acuity.
    • Strong sense of smell and touch.

    Estimated Salary:

    $27-32 per hour
