    Description

    About the Job:
    The CFO plays a crucial role in managing the financial health and strategy of the Firm.

    The CFO is a strategic partner to the Firm's Executive Committee, contributing to the overall success and growth of the Firm through effective financial management.


    Responsibilities Include:
    Financial Strategy and Planning – Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies. Provide financial insight and recommendations to the Firm's Executive Committee and various subcommittees.

    Budgeting and Forecasting – Prepare and oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with the Firm's overall objectives.

    Conduct regular financial forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities.
    Financial Reporting – Generate and analyze financial reports for leadership. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Banking and Investment Management – Oversee bank relationships and treasury management activities
    Tax Compliance – Oversee tax planning and compliance, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
    Employee Benefits and Payroll – Oversee payroll bi-weekly and employee benefits including 401(k).
    Insurance Management– Manage insurance coverages other than group benefits
    Leadership – Lead and develop the Finance department, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's effectiveness. Participate in the Executive Committee's meetings.
    Compliance and Ethics – Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in financial practices and reporting.

    Qualifications/Skills:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
    Extensive experience in financial management.
    Experience with legal or other professional services preferred but not required.
    Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
    Strong leader who enjoys working in teams and has an ownership mindset.
