Job Responsibilities:
Partner with client delivery lead, product owners to review requirements and associated user stories.
Partner with Solution Architects to review and validate a solution's feasibility.
Review and analyze program specifications to determine the effort needed to make changes.
Develop the source code and data migration activities for projects identified in scope.
Analyze and develop software in COBOL, CICS, JCL and IMS changes required for the project and if needed, make code changes, test, and support the team to meet delivery timelines.
Participate in analysis and resolution of critical production issues.
Will be involved in all phases of Agile SDLC.
Skills and Experience
Required:
Required:
8+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS
8+ years of experience designing, programming, and architecture in a mainframe environment.
8+ years of experience with RMDS/EXPEDITER/File-Aid for IMS/DB2
Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in Mainframe Modernization and Migration projects.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational.
Self-motivated with ability to work well with other groups in an enterprise wide, large-scale matrix environment.
Experienced in Agile methodology.
Desired:
Strong Communications Skills
Knowledge of JSON and Cloud technologies are a plus Banking domain experience.
Good to have experience in AWS, Azure or related cloud platform.
Experience in implementing high volume transactions processing applications.
