    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Develop software features, system architecture definition, and end-to-end implementation of embedded controls from prototype to production release of high end, consumer friendly, and energy efficient connected appliances. Develop software in C, Lua, and Javascript. Work with ARM core
    microprocessors, Software Development Kits (SDKs), open-source libraries, and RTOS and Linux operating systems to develop our Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connected products. Integrate connected appliances with third party home automation platforms. Use version control system, Git. Automate builds and identify issues using continuous integration. Perform embedded software development using Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressively responsible postBachelor's degree experience in a related occupation.

    The position also requires:

    • 5 years of embedded software development experience;
    • 5 years of experience using formal software development processes, including Agile;
    • 5 years of experience using software development tools, including C software language;
    • 3 years of software development experience in embedded devices using ethernet, Bluetooth, and WiFi;
    • 1 year of experience in HTTP and MQTT network communication protocols;
    • 1 year of experience performing software project scoping for effort estimates and schedules and pushing software through business approval processes;
    • 1 year of experience creating tasks and managing priorities using Zenhub;
    • 1 year of experience leading software development team to meet project deliverables; and
    • 1 year of experience leading software designs with cross functional teams.
    Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at 4000 Buechel Bank Road, Louisville, KY
