Position Overview:

Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm based in the scenic area of Boulder, Colorado
They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team

Senior Accountant Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities
We are looking for candidates who are proficient in SAP and possess extensive experience in full-cycle accounting
This position requires a candidate who can work 100% onsite.

Key Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

Perform complex bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Prepare and post detailed journal entries as part of the accounting cycle.
Provide support during the monthend closing process, including preparing financial statements and reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
Mentor junior accounting staff and help foster a teamoriented environment.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role within a manufacturing or similar industry.
Strong proficiency with SAP and thorough knowledge of fullcycle accounting practices.
Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proven track record of reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
