- Prepare monthly financial statement, according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturers format and time frame.
- Partner with assigned dealership(s) management to ensure that the store(s) is operating to produce planned profit, return on investment, and equity.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of expenses throughout dealership operations and assist dealership employees with understanding the expenses.
- Ensure that complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records for assigned dealership(s) sales, purchases, and other financial transactions are maintained according to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ensure that all tax reporting and payments are made on a timely basis.
- Develop and maintain an effective cash management system.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Previous automotive industry experience.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
- Solid skills in accounting software, including CDK and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
