    Job DescriptionFirst Call Professional is searching for a maintenance Technician to work on the East side of Indianapolis. Qualified candidates will have maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting and must have high voltage electrical 480V and PLC experience. $30.00-$40.00 hourly
    1. Employer pays 75% of health insurance premium

    Job Summary:The Maintenance employee will work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring production and facility equipment is working at all times. He/she will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance schedule and existing equipment protocol including building maintenance.Duties And Responsibilities
    1. Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
    2. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
    3. Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
    4. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
    5. Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
    6. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
    7. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
    8. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
    9. Safely operate and repair forklift
    10. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
    11. Other Responsibilities And Duties
    12. Will occasionally perform labor functions as needed.
    13. May perform other duties as assigned.
    Knowledge, Skills And Experience
    1. High School diploma or equivalent.
    2. Background in manufacturing.
    3. Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience in blown film industries.
    4. Able to effectively communicate.
    5. Ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environment.
    Physical Requirements : Constant physical activities are required for this position.
    1. Ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist
    2. Ability to lift boxes of 60 lbs or more
    3. Ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift
    4. Tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours
    5. Tolerance to heights in order to repair towers
    6. Intense walking is involved
    7. Able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.
