- Manage a busy, but flexible schedule
- Investigate and analyze job site and property storm damage photos using internal and external resources. Investigation steps include speaking with insurance adjusters or other involved parties such as project managers and requesting and receiving claim estimates from carriers
- Review insurance documents and confirm that the full scope of the project is included in the estimate and administer the file accordingly
- Use knowledge of roofing, siding and gutter components and measurements to create commercial and residential estimates by using existing photos and documentation
- Review sales proposals/documentation and prepare a scope of work
- Maintain professional and effective communication with coworkers and external customers during estimate and supplement process
- Maintain organization and upload required documents on a designated computer system
- Ability to review and understand insurance estimate paperwork
- Justify and explain damage and repair estimates when corresponding with insurance companies
- Prepare and submit insurance supplement estimates and documentation
- Follow-up with insurance adjusters to get insurance supplements approved
- Follow-up with client mortgage and insurance companies to obtain financial reimbursement
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Engage in the company's continued education and training
- Generate and manage all correspondence such as emails, sales and supplement estimates, contracts, and invoices for each assigned project- reviewing work for accuracy
