- BS Degree in STEM Field required
- 9+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN, PATRAN required
- Hand analysis of aerospace structures required
- Must be familiar with using UNIX computer systems
- Must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings
- Must have knowledge and experience applying skills, tools, and judgment to the field of aircraft primary structure design
- Experience analyzing aircraft subsystems and subsystem installations highly desired
- CATIA V5 or Siemens NX highly desired
- Active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years or CE enrollment Responsibilities: • Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.).
- Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
- Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyze the results EOE/ADA
