Job Description
Analyze internal and external coding audit results and identify areas of education for the coding staff. Create monthly summary of audit results. Create monthly coding education newsletter. Create quarterly coding education presentations. Research updated external coding guidelines. Create and revise internal coding guidelines and orientation documentation. Perform quality audits as needed. Provide physician documentation education. Collect, analyze and display performance improvement data related to coding. New hire training.
The right candidate will need to have experience in both inpatient and outpatient facility coding. Professional coding preferred.
