    About the Role

    As a seasoned fundraiser, trusted leader and expert relationshipmanager, the Director of Individual Giving and Major Gifts willdesign the strategy and lead the execution of a best-in-class majordonor and corporate fundraising program for NABU. Working hand inhand with NABU's CEO, reporting directly to the Chief OperatingOfficer, this role will join our talented Senior Leadership teamand help us meet our next major milestone of reaching 25 millionchildren globally by supporting in the development and execution ofNABU's strategic goals.

    Applying an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on work ethic, thisleader will develop fundraising practices and implement tools andprocesses that increase funding and promise an excellent donorexperience. Inheriting a robust donor database, the Director isresponsible for managing the complete giving cycle, includingdeveloping strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, andstewardship of donors with special focus on six and seven figuremulti-year gifts.

    What you will do
    ● Develop and deliver a clearly defined individual and major donorfundraising strategy and
    implement best practices to increase revenue from a mixed revenuestrategy; including
    HNW individuals, Institutional & Family Foundations andCorporate partners.
    ● You will develop a strategy to define NABU's optimal donorsegments and deploy a journey
    stewardship strategy that will effectively leverage the CEO andco-founder to produce the
    highest level of value.
    ● New business development - strategize and build new relationshipswith the objective to
    build a robust pipeline, and convert these leads into multi-yeardonations.
    ● Hire and manage a small team aligned to revenue goals andfundraising milestones
    ● Work cross-functionally to support a $2M revenue target fromcorporate sponsors in 2024
    ● Build a qualified portfolio of prospects and current supporterswith the capacity to give 5, 6
    and 7-figure gifts, combining our existing database and researchtools with your ingenuity
    and resourcefulness

    ● Develop a metrics-driven approach to your portfolio, analyzingsupporter data to find new
    opportunities, drive efficiencies, and maximize results
    ● Propose and execute an event strategy and calendar focused onboth cultivating new donor
    relationships and increasing engagement with existingsupporters
    ● Establish the processes and pitch materials to support theFounders in cultivating their own
    portfolios
    ● Learn, studying, and becoming an expert on NABU's work around theworld
    ● Be a collaborative, communicative leader and mentor to theteam
    ● Proactively contribute to the success of the entire organizationand team, promoting a
    compassionate and inclusive culture of high performance andcontinuous improvement that
    embodies NABU's core values

    What you have done
    ● 5-7 years of relevant fundraising experience, with provenmanagement experience, ideally
    in an international organization
    ● A track record of raising at least $1M annually from majordonors, foundations, and/or
    corporations
    ● Proven experience building and growing a portfolio of donorswithin a small, start-up
    environment
    ● Worked in a fast-paced, mission-driven, start-up environmentwhere you had to balance
    rolling-up your sleeves with setting strategy
    ● Solicited 6 and 7-figure gifts from HNW individuals, CorporateFoundations and Foundations
    ● Stewarded a portfolio of influential donors
    ● Managed fundraising teams
