Responsibilities
- Provides direct pre-trial and trial support generally for litigated matters with varied complexity Assists in the drafting review filing and service of pleadings motions and at times complex motions such as motions in limine and dispositive motions discovery subpoenas Reviews documents document production requests Analyzes drafts responses to incoming discovery Reviews medical records Conducts legal research writing assignments which may include preparation of medical chronologies drafts impactful deposition summaries fact expert witnesses Proactively assists attorney move case files trial/resolution May attend case related events provides trial support supports change champion technology
- Brings well-developed sense organization coordinate workflow maintain filing follow-up system overall litigation strategy Coordinates schedules depositions hearings meetings communicates clients expert witnesses Provides administrative support includes retrieval information document management assembly exhibits binders appendices depositions court filings hearings trial Maintains working knowledge court procedures local rules Reviews dockets retrieves case information
- Understands maintains confidentiality attorney-client privilege/relationship trial strategies ethics rules identities plaintiff defense clients claims customers Performs legal assistant other duties
