- Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
- Monitoring and observing patient vital signs.
- Administering sedation to patients before procedures.
- Recovering patients post-procedure.
- Administering necessary medications to patients.
- Completing patient documentation, including notes and discharge documents.
- Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment prior to use.
- Assisting doctors throughout procedures.
- Administering IV drips as needed.
- Valid NY RN License.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
- 2 years of experience with endoscopy procedures.
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience.
- Proficiency in conscious sedation.
- Expertise in IV insertion.
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia.
- Experience performing intake for GI procedures.
