    Description

If so, we want you on our teamEntech Staffing is looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and ensure their assembly lines and test equipment run at peak efficiency.

    You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, keeping our automation systems running smoothly, and implementing improvements that boost productivity.


    What You'll Do:
    Leverage your expertise in electrical hardware, automation systems, robotics, and process control to maintain top-notch production processes.

    Be our PLC and HMI programming guru, with a strong command of Mitsubishi and AB platforms, Proface HMI, and more.

    Partner with the maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment, software, vision systems, robots, and identify solutions that keep costs down.
    Champion safety and quality by designing error-proofing systems and implementing safety controls that meet industry standards.

    Keep our electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems running like clockwork by updating drawings in AutoCAD.Provide technical leadership, training our team on operation, setup, and maintenance procedures.

    Dive deep into new projects, creating system integration plans, specifications, and documentation.
    Lend your expertise during equipment startups and commissions.


    We're looking for someone who:
    Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or has equivalent skills and experience.
    Is a whiz with software development, including PLC programming, HMI configuration, SCADA knowledge, and Ethernet communication.
    Has 3+ years of experience rocking PLC and HMI programming (especially Mitsubishi)Prioritizes safety and upholds the highest quality standards.
    Has a knack for clear communication and thrives in a collaborative environment.
    Is self-motivated and can handle tasks with minimal supervision.
    Can handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, walking, and working at a desk.


    Bonus points if you have:
    Experience with LS Master-K PLC programming.3+ years working with vision systems and robot automation.
    Experience integrating and debugging automation systems.
