    Steeltech LLC HR Manager

    Department: Human Resources

    Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

    SUMMARY

    As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our people strategy, fostering employee development, and cultivating a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement. You'll have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by developing and executing initiatives that enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and onboard top-tier talent.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to streamline the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and efficient hiring outcomes.
    • Implement data-driven retention strategies, leveraging feedback and analytics to continuously enhance employee satisfaction.
    • Evaluate current HR programs and policies to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
    • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all HR practices.
    • Skillfully administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring transparency and equity.
    • Prioritize and assume full responsibility for compliance reporting and all aspects pertaining to occupational health and safety, placing safety at the forefront of our work environment.
    • Collaborate on the administration of our 401(k) plan and optimize our benefits offerings.
    • Actively engage with employees on the plant floor, embodying a hands-on approach that fosters a deeper connection, encourages open communication, and demonstrates leadership's commitment to their well-being and growth.
    • Work collaboratively with supervisors and managers to strengthen our performance management processes.
    • Identify pathways for career advancement and skills development, providing tools and resources to support employee growth.
    • Lead the creation of clear job descriptions and organizational structures that foster efficient collaboration.
    • Drive engagement initiatives that recognize and celebrate the contributions of our workforce.
    • Champion our people-focused initiatives throughout the organization, ensuring buy-in and support at all levels.
    • Safety and Environmental reporting including storm water and OSHA safety requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field
    • Acquaintance with relevant software and tools.
    • Strong business strategy and organizational knowledge.
    • Outstanding emotional intelligence.
    • Must demonstrate trustworthiness, strong work ethic, and organizational prowess.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Requires both face-to-face and telephonic interactions.
    • Ability to travel to our Wisconsin facility
