- Provide personal cares to children at our facility focused on children in the Wausau area including feeding, toileting, diapering, etc.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as appropriate to individual child's needs
- Monitor the health and safety of each child served
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with the family
- High school diploma required
- One to two years of related experience working in the day care or respite field
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified
- Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years and a good driving record
- Must have proof of personal vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test, physical evaluation, and TB Test
- The employee must frequently lift, support, and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift, support, and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 5 or more continuous hours without sitting down
- Occasional to frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching
- Must be caring and compassionate, and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients
