Job summary
We are looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist dedicated to empowering students and schools. As an Occupational Therapist you will play a critical role in helping students improve functional skills and achieve greater independence in their educational environments.Responsibilities
• Evaluate Needs: Perform Occupational Therapy assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for specialized services.• Communicate Findings: Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear actionable recommendations.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to create evidence-based interventions that promote student participation access to education and skill development.
• Provide Therapy Deliver direct therapy services or oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in implementing IEP goals
• Monitor Progress Maintain accurate detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed
