The Clarksburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is looking for a full-time board certified/board eligible Intensivist to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to practice Pure Medicine with no overhead, malpractice, or insurance companies to deal with. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in the ICU to reduce morbidity and mortality rates. Collaboration with a skilled nursing and staff team is key to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
The Intensivist will work on a 7 on 7 off schedule and be responsible for various duties including critical care consultations, daily rounds, and participation in Rapid Response Teams. Additionally, there are specific duties related to Pulmonology such as outpatient consultations, interpretation of pulmonary function tests, and potential involvement in the Sleep Medicine Program.
