    Summary About the Position:

    You will serve as Supervisory Program Analyst, with responsibility for directing the planning, coordination and execution of financial management functions for a PEO/Project Management (PM) Office.

    Responsibilities Defends PEO/PM financial programs to ensure approval by higher headquarters. Plans work to be accomplished, providing overall goals and objectives. Assigns work based on priorities and employees technical expertise. Evaluates completed work. Makes formal appraisal of work, giving advice and counsel to employees as required. Formulate program management policies and procedures, and provide technical direction and assistance to supporting installations.

    Develop and implement performance metrics to ensure success of meeting the objectives and closing the gaps of the audit readiness strategic initiative, in coordination with all ASA(ALT) AND HQDA stakeholders.

    Develop new programs and direct the execution of established programs for the development, procurement, production, product assurance, supply and maintenance of assigned systems.

    Develop, maintain, and coordinate a responsive financial management program to assure availability of resources to meet established milestones and events for development and fielding of system(s), to include budget requests,.

    Develop, maintain, and coordinate program execution and monitoring, baseline cost estimate, operations research and other analytical studies, workflow, management, and procedural analysis studies.

    Tasks participating and supporting organizations with program and budget planning and reporting actions by developing and disseminating requirements, methods, justification strategies, and reporting cycle.

    Specialized and Other Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating programs; AND 2) Overseeing teams involved in the planning, prioritizing, managing and directing of financial management, program analysis, budget planning or manpower management; AND 3) Providing guidance or work review for employees; and formulating program management policies and procedures to support the mission.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or (GS-13) equivalent.

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.     This is a Career Program (CP) 1- Comptroller position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
