    About Waste Pro:

    Waste Pro provides a comprehensive compensation package based on proven skills and capabilities. They believe in supporting their team's growth, offering opportunities to pursue ASE Certification with fee reimbursement, compensation increases, and a Master Technician Achievement Bonus. Technicians also receive a monthly tool allowance of up to $50.

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Knowledge and ability to perform Preventative Maintenance services for heavy duty and light duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Aid and assist drivers with daily post-trip and safety inspections
    • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
    • Complete lubrication and repair of vehicles as assigned
    • Learn and utilize brake inspection procedures
    • Perform basic repairs and maintenance on various equipment types
    • Communicate with technicians and drivers regarding vehicle issues
    • Complete all required paperwork and data entry
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area
    • Conduct repairs following factory service manuals
    • Uphold high standards of ethics and dependability
    • Follow safety policies and procedures

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Assist drivers with pre/post-trip process
    • Identify necessary vehicle repairs
    • Complete fluid top-ups and inspections
    • Support technicians with repairs
    • Understand lubrication charts
    • Assist with basic engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical repairs
    • Knowledge of tools required for maintenance
    • Basic computer skills

    OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate in sponsored training courses
    • Stay up to date on current technology used by Waste Pro
    • Perform any additional duties as assigned

    Special Considerations/Physical Work Requirements:

    • Exposure to varying work environments
    • Physical requirements such as lifting, bending, and reaching

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Normal setting: Inside and Outside with exposure to weather conditions
