    The Sr Technical Project Manager will guide a talented, global, multi-disciplinary engineering team applying Agile practices and methodologies to deliver complex electromechanical products to end users.

    Role and Responsibilities

    In this role you will:

    • Work independently while collaborating with all stakeholders and the engineering team using Agile approaches to deliver product releases that meet organizational standards and business needs.
    • Own medium-sized features or feature sets that span engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, firmware, test and software engineering.
    • Apply Agile principles to translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning.
    • Interact with technology leads, senior engineering staff, and product managers to understand product and technical needs and timelines.
    • Ensure understanding of issues and present clear rationale. Speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Use two-way communication to influence outcomes and drive results.
    • Identify misalignment with goals, objectives, and work direction against the organizational strategy. Make suggestions to course correct.
    • Continuously measure deliverables of self and team against scheduled commitments. Effectively balance different, competing objectives.
    • Demonstrate practical experience with Agile Methodologies to run scrums and stand-ups guiding and supporting the engineering team in scope considerations and project requirements.
    • Demonstrate understanding of product and project management and software and product development lifecyles.
    • Demonstrate the ability to guide the technology team and stakeholders through persuasion and influence.
    • Demonstrate increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with project stakeholders and technology leadership to define the features backlog and specify requirements.
    • Lead daily stand-ups and sprint/release planning discussions. Manage iteration and release backlogs and plans in the project management tools. Define the iteration and release plans and approaches based upon project scope, dependencies, expected timeline and available resources.
    • Drive technology discussion and strategy in-line with business needs, reference architectures, and company product development standards.
    • Support the team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with teams external to the engineering team to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
    • Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.
    • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
    • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matches stakeholder expectations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM (Science Technology Engineering, Math) or.
    • Minimum of 5 years project management expertise using Agile methodologies, ideally in a multi-engineering discipline environment.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Jira or Rally.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Effective team building and problem-solving abilities.
