    We're seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for our client's commercial real estate development projects. Qualified candidates will collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain financial pro-formas for projects.
    • Monitor vendor contracts and process invoices.
    • Administer tenant allowance payments and compile financial reports.
    • Assist with audits and delegate tasks to the accounting team.
    • Manage and train staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA a plus.
    • Minimum 6+ years of professional accounting experience.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERPs like Yardi.
    • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
    • Flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with real estate development accounting.

    Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

    Hours: 40 hour workweek typical, with some overtime likely during month-end

    Location: Washington, DC - hybrid three days per week in-office and two days remote

    Employment Type: Full-time direct hire/permanent
