    Job Summary
    As a Cook at Sunshine Academy, youll prepare and serve meals to out students. As well over see all of the functions of the kitchen.

    Responsibilities
    • Prepare delicious, healthy menu items and deliver to classroom-based on breakfast, lunch and snack schedule
    • Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment per procedure and childcare licensing requirements
    • Follow Child Care Food Program requirements in providing a variety of nutritious foods for healthy growth
    • Maintains the inventory of food items and prepares food order list
    • Works with the teacher and leadership teams by communicating and contributing information on a continuous basis
    • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and always has a smile to share

    Qualifications
    • Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
    • Previous experience in a fast pace kitchen
    • Organized
    • Shows initiative; strong work ethic
    • High school diploma
    • Must pass Level II Background Screening
