    As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in our procurement process, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services that meet our organization's quality standards, cost objectives, and delivery requirements. Your expertise in purchasing, vendor management, and market analysis will contribute to optimizing our supply chain operations and driving overall business success.

    Requirements:
    • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to enhance procurement efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish procurement policies and procedures.
    • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
    • Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
    • Source and evaluate potential suppliers for a wide range of goods and services.
    • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and product/service innovations to drive informed purchasing decisions.
    • Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, delivery schedules, and quality specifications.
    • Collaborate with legal and other relevant stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and disputes.
    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
    • Monitor and manage potential supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, and supplier-related risks.
    • Implement contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and finance, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into procurement decisions.
    • Work closely with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels and minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
    • Provide support and guidance to junior procurement staff, fostering their professional development.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer, Purchasing Manager, or similar role, with at least [X] years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.
    • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and market trends.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

    Physical Requirements:

    The majority of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions, but the job will also require from time to time to visit the production floor and in the warehouse.
