    RFH Senior Art Buyer/Senior Producer

    Razorfish Health is looking for an outstanding integrated Senior Art Buyer/Producer with an established background in leading still productions and retouching/composite/CGI post production.

    We are looking for someone native to art buying with experience owning a project from initial vendor engagement, through bidding and contracting, to pre-production, production (both studio and on-location), and post production.

    Some experience integrating video into productions and managing video post-production workstreams are a plus. This role will report to the Director of Production, and work with various brand teams across the agency.
    Anticipated Percentages of Workload

    Photo and CGI Production: 65%

    Video Post-production: 10%

    Assets rights management and licensing: 10%
    Asset DAM management 10%

    Font licensing management: 5%

    Responsibilities
    Owns all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production on assigned projects
    Formalizes bid specs and bid packages from vendors/directors during triple, double, or single bids to create clear estimates and a production POV for agency and client teams
    Awards work and manages all paperwork pertaining to the project, including the production contract, talent agreements, POs, etc.
    Obtains insurance coverage for productions.
    Prepares and maintains model releases for all agency productions, manages payments and ensure renewals are negotiated and paid well in advance of expiry
    Attends pre-production and on-set production (may require overseas travel)
    Actualizes and audits vendor invoices
    Ensures scopes and budgets are maintained throughout production and post-production processes, and manages overage estimates and approvals as required
    Negotiates and purchases all stock imagery, footage and music
    Maintains relationships with stock houses and keeps agency up-to-date on policies and pricing pertaining to stock
    Ensure client-specific production guidelines are observed throughout production process
    Works with cost consultants as required
    Maintains timely communication with Creative, Account, Project Management, Business Affairs, Finance, and Resource Management to facilitate workflow
    Provides production insights to both agency and client teams for decion-making purposes
    Provides input for director and vendor selection process
    Remains current on industry and technological trends
    Identifies potential legal issues and interfaces with Agency legal counsel to resolve issues
    Conducts monthly audits of assets for clients to ensure licensing is current, and manages renewals of talent contracts and assets licensing when necessary
    Supports asset archiving and management of RFH's DAM
    Serves as point person for font licensing and usage for RFH
    Qualifications

    Required:
    Five to ten years of experience leading both productions and retouching/composite workstreams
    Five years or more years of experience working in or with advertising agencies
    Three or more years of experience contracting usage for talent and assets, including SAG/DGA/union
    Understanding of the production landscape to advise on the most efficient ways to maximize asset capture for various present and future needs across channels (print, social digital, etc)
    Strong creative sensibility with a keen eye, knowledge and interest in design, animation, illustration, photography, and visual storytelling
    Knowledge of video production process and the nuances between different content creation workstreams
    Ability to travel up to 15% of the year, including overseas and domestic

    Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree in communication, visual arts, media, advertising, or production
    Background working with pharmaceutical brands and healthcare clients
    Experience producing integrated campaigns, namely doing both still and video production and post-production
    Additional Information

    Compensation Range:
    $64,500 - $101,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 03/12/2024.
