    Job Overview


    Our client is seeking Manager of Corporate Accounting with strong leadership and communication skills, able to proactively drive a team within a fast-paced, publicly-traded environment.

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

    Responsible for corporate accounting processes, heavy emphasis on leases and fixed assetsCommunicate across the organization to manage accounting aspects of real estate and lease administrationAssist in month-end close procedures, including preparation or review of journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reportsMaintain documentation of accounting processes/procedures and related internal control frameworkAssist in preparation of of audit schedules requested by internal and external auditorsSupport other departments to reach organization goals and deadlinesImplementation of continuous process improvements/efficienciesAd hoc projects to assist with accounting research and other internal projects

    Basic Qualifications

    CPA requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldHeavy exposure to lease accounting, with understanding of ASC 842At least 5 years of relevant accounting experienceExperience managing or leading a teamProven ability to multi-task and deliver results in a deadline-oriented environmentStrong understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and controlsDemonstrated analytical, problem solving and process improvement skillsAbility to convey information effectively to all levels of management and external auditorsStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups for a large volume of data
