    Position:
    Functional Analyst
    • ManufacturingLocation:Houston, TX OnsitePrimary Duties & Areas of Responsibility: Analyzing systems and business processes, recommending improvements that would increase efficiency and reduce costs for high volume Manufacturing.
    Provide world-class application baseload and non-baseload support for multiple company applications and locations.
    Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items.
    Analyze customers business requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
    Troubleshooting, requirements gathering, design, write and test applications; problem reporting; provides detailed specification and follows standard programming procedures.

    Identifying potential risks or issues with proposed solutions and providing recommendations for addressing themManage communications, scheduling, and logistics for business and ERP specific projects.

    Help guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution.
    Ensure instructional materials are accurate. Provide subject matter expertise and support for end user training delivery.

    Project???s scope and objectives, activities performed, and findingsWorking with manufacturing team leaders to determine how best to apply modern technologies to meet organizational goals and improve efficiencyRespond to and resolve system failures and performance issuesActively drive issue resolution and closely monitor its progress.

    Develop, document, and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and lessons learned, including metrics for assess.
    Plan and facilitate requirements sessions to identify and validate requirements with corporate IS team, IT, and business stakeholders.
    Assisting with the integration of newly acquired businesses.


    Required Skills & Experience:
    Bachelor???s degree in a computer science field. Plus 5 yrs. in or around Manufacturing process.
    Experience in manufacturing ERP implementations/MigrationsWorking knowledge of start to finish process from order demand to invoicing.
    Self-starter with a sense of urgency, and ability to work independently and in a team setting.
    Software implementation, integration, update support as neededAnalyze and refine business, functional, and technical requirements.
    Excellent Communication skillsSome Travel required#10089
