- Identify, market, and underwrite prospective accounts in targeted industries
- Direct and monitor underwriting activities to achieve positive results
- Build strong relationships with Brokers/Agents and communicate PMA's appetite
- Display excellent planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, customer service, and analytical ability
- Take initiative in managing territorial assignments and developing business plans
- Collaborate with Risk Control and Claims Representatives to enhance customer service
- Develop profitability plans and provide feedback to stakeholders
- Adhere to Company's business conduct and ethics standards
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (CPCU preferred)
- 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines
- Knowledge of specific markets and willingness to travel
- Strong technical skills in Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile
- Experience in Property and Umbrella insurance is beneficial
- Effective negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven track record of premium growth and profitability
- Superior marketing skills and ability to work with diverse agents and brokers
