We're looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer who is passionate about resiliency, automation at scale, and continuous improvement to join our Engineering Excellence FinOps team.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing and building innovative automation and focus on delivering insights into cost and usage patterns, vital for strategic decisions.
What you'll do as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (FinOps)
Design, build, and maintain new automation to power actionable insights into cost and usage patterns that will inform strategic and operational decisions in partnership with our Data teams.
Work on cost breakdown of infrastructure, cloud services, and other resources used by applications.
Advise our Engineering teams on best practices around optimal infrastructure patterns and standards to eliminate waste without impacting reliability.
What you'll bring
At least 3 years of experience working with cloud APIs, and owning software and the underlying infrastructure running on AWS, GCP, or other public cloud.
Hands-on experience with programming languages using object-oriented paradigms and functional style (Python, Go, C#, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
Solid knowledge of patterns for developing, testing, releasing, and monitoring software with a modern CI/CD approach as part of a team (Git, testing frameworks, Jenkins, DataDog, or Grafana).
