- Deliver a CIT program that is appropriate for the age and ability of the campers
- Live with, supervise, and evaluate CITs.
- Evaluate the success of the CIT program at the end of the season.
- Follow-up with counselors with evaluations on CIT cabin and activity involvement.
- Assist in assigning CIT's to activities and cabins.
- Plan and facilitate daily leadership classes.
- Plan and manage special events involving CITs.
- Coordinate with the Program Director on CIT events including the Camping trip, AP, Chapel, and service project.
- Plan itineraries and file with camp director or program director before leaving for each trip.
- Guide CITs in an understanding of children, working in the camp environment through the camp's overall mission and objectives.
- Facilitate CITs' development of skills in camp activities, outdoor living, and leadership necessary to work effectively with children.
- Participate as a member of the camp management team to plan, direct, and supervise camp programs and functions.
- Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned.
- Work with Program Director to develop CIT program in the off and on season.
- Participate in management and staff meetings.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the living space to which you are assigned.
- Prepared to do anything else deemed necessary by Directors.
- Minimum of 21 years of age or equivalent of 3 years of counseling experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications during term of employment.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Position Purpose:
To further the mission of camp through the development of future counselors through activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the camper's age and abilities. Manage program and counselor in training ("CIT") schedule and supervision with assistance from program supervisors and direct care staff.
Essential Job Functions:
Equipment Used:
Coordinators should have basic knowledge of technology. They should also be familiar with camping equipment such as a water filter, tent, etc. Coordinators may be asked to use fire suppression equipment, washer and dryers, dishwashers, and specialty program equipment. Some may be asked to drive camp vehicles.
