- Plan and implement recreational activities for residents
- Assist residents in participating in activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents
- Ensure that all activities are safe and appropriate for residents
- Document resident participation in activities
- Assist in the maintenance of recreational equipment and supplies
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Ability to plan and implement recreational activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to pass a background check

Job Summary:
The Recreational Technician is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities for residents of the Southern Utah Veterans Home.
