    Want to work year-round? This position is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of PTAC's and HVAC systems.

    A packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) is a ductless, through-the-wall heating and cooling system that is normally used in apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals and senior living facilities. We mainly service condominiums located in Chicago as well as the suburbs.


    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Enjoy working with customers and provide excellent customer service.
    • Provide PTAC and HVAC preventative maintenance, service, and estimates.
    • Installation of IAQ equipment.
    • Installation of PTAC units as well as replacing old wall sleeves with new wall sleeves.
    • Maintain regular working hours and be on rotating on-call duty.
    • Make an effort to learn all aspects of PTAC's and HVAC.
    • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts and equipment are stocked.
    • Maintain service vehicle, tools, company uniforms, and other related company property.
    • Electronically submit paperwork related to completion of job duties.
    • Assist in other business functions as needed.
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    Requirements:
    • One to three years minimum field experience with residential HVAC service (not including school).
    • Familiar with PTAC units.
    • Proficient in mechanical and diagnostic skills
    • Strong problem-solving aptitude
    • A desire to learn and grow in the HVAC and PTAC industry.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times within any given shift to perform service and install work.
      • Individual may need to alternate sitting, standing, kneeling or crawling to be able to perform the service work necessary on a customers system.
    • Must be well groomed and have a neat appearance.
    • Have a positive attitude.
    • Provide customer service through quality communication to customers.
    • Have the ability to use smartphones, tablets, and computers.
    • Must be able to write and speak English clearly.
    • EPA Certified
    • Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
    • Pass drug test
