    Maintenance Mechanic.

    YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

    • PLC Exp
    • Exp in Manufacturing
    • Automation design it's a plus

    To set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment. Under limited supervision removes, changes, and sets up machine cavities to assigned production machine.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


    • Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.


    • Repairs mechanical parts, such as hydraulics chillers, granulators, thermolators and dryers. and electronics of all machines.


    • Changes water hoses.


    • Cleans the barrel and other accessories when needed.


    • Checks and repairs hopper, air valve, vacuums, hydraulic hoses, and valves.


    • Unclogs water circulation from heater.


    • Weld using the Ark Welder, Oxygen and Acetylene tank


    • Checks items such as, air compressors, water tower, and air conditioner.


    • Repairs new tech robots.


    • Serves as a Machine Set Up I for at least four hours per day.


    • Follows all Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports an safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.


    • Follows Understands and complies with all Departmental Quality Policies and Procedures.

    MINIMUN JOB REQUIREMENTS


    • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent


    • Mechanical Aptitude


    • Must have 5+ years working in plastics injection molding manufacturing environment.


    • Three years' experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.


    • Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, blueprints, written instructions, and use mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical gauges and equipment.


    • Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and practices used for setting up of machine


    • Hydraulic & electrical trade school preferred


    • Experience using electric & hydraulic schematics, with proven troubleshooting abilities.


    • Must be able to work flexible hours, work overtime as needed.


    • Understanding of English language (able to communicate). Bilingual English/Spanish a plus


    • Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate safe work habits, multitask, have good communication skills and able to work with minimal supervision.


    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.


    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office


    • Own basic standard and metric tools / toolbox
