    PV and Energy Storage Sales Analyst

    The PV and Energy Storage Analyst will have primary responsibility for managing all aspects of the project analysis process, working with internal and external stakeholders to analyze project opportunities and formulate strategies to launch solar and energy storage projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess high levels of attention to detail and organization, and be able to leverage critical thinking and analysis skills to solve complex problems. This role is designed to give the candidate a foundational understanding of all elements of solar and storage project analysis and design.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities Primary energy analyst working to analyze solar and storage opportunities for White Pine's customers with a focus on project sizing, design, and value:

    • Analyze optimal solar and storage solutions to provide savings to our customers
    • Understand each potential customer's energy consumption, utility rate tariff, site, and desired outcome to generate a unique solar and storage power plant located at our customer's facility.
    • Utilize tools and templates in Energy Toolbase, Utility API, Helioscope, Tyba and Excel to analyze data and communicate findings to colleagues and customers
    • Create detailed financial analysis of prospective projects
    • Create compelling proposals to send to prospective customers
    • Analyze new markets and programs for behind the meter and in front of the meter opportunities
    • Draft proposals for utility and customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
    • Evaluate new technologies from a financial return standpoint for use in White Pine projects and proposals.
    • Support operating projects inclusive of:
    • Ensuring customers are receiving correct value for services provided
    • Performance evaluation and reporting
    • Rate changes for customers
    • REC registration and REC sales
    • Management of O&M and washing contractors
    • Invoicing

    Required Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in the renewable energy sector
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
    • Finance or engineering background is a plus but not required
    • Ability to analyze and clearly present multiple data points in order to work with company leadership to make decisions on key aspects of development and commercial strategy
    • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective management and team-building internally and trust-building externally
    • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to quality work product
    • Extremely organized; able to manage a myriad of competing priorities
    • Must have integrity, tenacity, and credibility complimented by a bias for action and a strong sense of personal accountability
