- Effectively communicates with all departments within the Company, as well as suppliers and customers, to solve problems and develop solutions;
- Interprets customer specifications and standards;
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.;
- Interface with Engineering and Production to ensure process capability;
- Assist the Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the quality management system;
- Writes reports, assists in writing procedures and standards;
- Assures customer requirements are satisfied through the Quality System documentation;
- Assists with internal audit program;
- Develop training to build quality awareness;
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the requirements of the quality management system;
- Remains knowledgeable of the latest inspection techniques, processes, and equipment;
- Assists with determining gauging requirements;
- Reviews non-conformance and customer complaint documentation initiates corrective action and root cause analysis and maintains database;
- Initiate and communicate MRB issues with customers;
- Assist in maintaining MRB holding area;
- Reviews routers before release;
- Assist in engineering changes to ensure quality requirements are satisfied;
- Assists in the design of in-process drawings and tool designs;
- Maintains and reviews supplier performance and approval;
- Maintains company training records pertaining to the QMS;
- Able to prepare and present FAIR packages to customers;
- Performs administrative duties as required to maintain complete records.
- Experience in manufacturing or complex processing.
- Incumbent needs a minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Quality Engineer or four (4) years' experience as a Quality Inspector; a BS in Engineering is preferred.
- Must possess good communication skills and be a team player.
- Previous experience in quality engineering roles within the automotive manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of automotive quality standards and processes.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and measurement system analysis (MSA).

Job DescriptionSummary:
As a Quality Engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production processes meet quality standards and requirements. You will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and resolving quality issues to ensure the production of high-quality automotive components or vehicles. Responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management System while acting as a liaison between Quality and Engineering/Production.
