Family Medicine Opening in New YorkThe mission of the program is to train physicians to excel in the leadership of high-quality and high value, patient centered care for people of all ages in their communities.
We are very fortunate to be partnered with the University of Vermont as our program grows and expands.The providers consist of 7 primary care physicians, 18 residents and 3 primary care advanced practitioners.
In addition we have an Ob/Gyn physician , an infectious disease physician, an infectious disease nurse practitioner, and a podiatrist that round out the team.
Our current practice sees approximately 19,000 patients annually. We see approximately 120 patients daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings.Our payer mix is:
38% Medicaid, 32% Medicare and 30% Other.

Plattsburgh is a picturesque community of 38,000 located on Lake Champlain (6th largest lake in the country) and at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.
