    POSITION SUMMARY


    Reporting directly to the Customer Service and Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for accessing customer systems to timely and accurately execute all customer orders.

    A Supply Chain Specialist must understand the specifics of products they represent as well as the business needs of their customer.


    The Supply Chain Specialist acts as support staff for operations and must possess a comprehensive understanding of the CNA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to produce and analyze reports as needed.

    Additionally, the Supply Chain Specialist collaborates with various departments such as Sales, Lab Services, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting.


    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education, Credentials, Licenses:
    B.A. or B.S degree in a Business-related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education

    Kind & Length of Experience:


    1-4 years of demonstrated experience in a high transactional volume customer focused role with emphasis on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

    Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data entry or system experience

    Intermediate computer skills/Microsoft Office


    PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
    Accurate and timely order entry

    Allocation of product to orders and inventory

    Understand specific customer requirements for each shipment

    Communicate effectively both externally and internally

    Prepare Purchase Orders

    Create Invoices

    Analyze or produce reports for business leaders and others

    Post transactions timely and consistent with (or in adherence to) KPI targets

    Invoice Accuracy

    In your absence you are to ensure that the tasks assigned to you are adequately covered by trained personnel.

    You are responsible to communicate and work with your manager to ensure your workload is covered when you are out.

    Procurement of raw material

    Schedule and plan production

    Schedule pickup and delivery appointments

    Organize shipping paperwork for inbound and outbound orders

    Support transportation Emergency Response (offsite), through appropriate coordination with internal and external resources;

    Track and review customer complaints/concerns, especially related to Quality and EHS&S;

    Adhere to all DOT, IATA and IMDG hazardous materials or dangerous goods regulations;

    Other duties as assigned.

    Pay Range:
    $52,000 - $65,800 per year
