    Multi-state design firm is seeking a Roadway Project Manager for their team in St. Louis

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead project manager
    • Ensure projects delivered on time and within budget that meet quality standards
    • Supervise professional staff
    • Mentor/train junior staff to promote professional development
    • Project include bridge/retaining walls, dams, storm/traffic structures, inspections, rehabilitations, and load ratings
    • Assist with construction engineering services
    • Transportation projects include grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings for public/private clients
    • Develop project scope, schedules, and budgets
    • Track project progress to ensure financial success and timely completion
    • Manage complex contract negotiations
    • Lead all aspects of project (assemble/manage team, assign individual responsibilities to utilize capabilities/expertise of team)
    • Primary contact for clients and internal/external teams
    • Monitor progress to ensure progress stays on budget and schedule
    • Identify and implement changes if needed
    • Document project deliverables
    • Maintain detailed records (correspondence, design plans)
    • Build/maintain client relationships
    • Enforce safety standards and adhere to regulations

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
    • 8+ years of highway/municipal design experience
    • 5+ years of project management experience
    • PE License
    • Project management experience (scope, schedule, and budget control)
    • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • Existing relationships within local municipalities in area preferred

    Salary is commensurate with experience.
