    QUICK APPLY We are currently sourcing candidates for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician III at our Euclid, OH facility.

    The purpose of this position is to assist, prioritize, and help with the workload for the department personnel by ensuring department goals and operational needs are met efficiently.

    This position assumes the same daily tasks, responsibilities, and assignments which includes repairing and installing mill, slitting, shearing, furnace and other equipment.

    Perform routine building maintenance and repairs.

    Job responsibilities also include, but not limited to:
    Assist with changing roll assemblies
    • Disconnect all lines and keepers, remove assemblies from mill and replace with new assembly.
    Assist with chock rolls
    • Remove chock assemblies from used rolls and assemble on refinished rolls.
    Chock maintenance
    • Replace broken or leaking lines.
    Repair piston assemblies. Replace seals and repair or replace bearings. Tension mill leaders
    • Change tension mill leaders, repair old leaders and make new leader assemblies.
    Assist other maintenance groups in preventative maintenance. Use lift equipment to move and position material as necessary. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain high quality standards.

    Assure consistent product quality through established ISO 9002 production methods and techniques; understand cause and effect of process variables on final product.

    Utilize SAP to assure that all charges for maintenance hours and parts are charged to the appropriate work orders, departments or work centers.

    Utilize SAP to track maintenance hours spent on repairs/PM. Utilize SAP to track the usage of spare parts. Maintain cross training initiatives within the Maintenance department, as directed by Maintenance leadership. Recommend improvements to safety and housekeeping procedures following the JSA procedures. Maintain equipment in safe and efficient operation by working closely with maintenance department. Identify preventative maintenance routines. Maintain work area in a clean, safe and orderly condition.


    Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or GED; Vocational training is a plus. 1-2years previous maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Basic math skills are required to perform necessary job functions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts, understand general tolerance and utilize measuring equipment. Welding and fabrication knowledge Knowledge of basic computer skills.

    Must utilize judgment and innovation to perform responsibilities, to decide whether or not to repair equipment and to determine how long repairs will take.

    Also, to shut down equipment for repairs or let equipment run, taking into consideration plant and departmental production, safety and quality guidelines.

    Perform all tasks in an efficient, conscientious manner that contributes to the safety and quality goals of the company. Business needs and trade compliance requirements mandate that this position be held by a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
